Belvedere Mansion has stood for more than a century against the Saugatuck landscape with a quiet permanence — a historic estate whose timeless architecture and European-inspired surroundings continue to set it apart. Today, the mansion has been thoughtfully refreshed to enhance the guest experience while preserving the character, charm, and sense of history that have long defined the property.
Updated carpeting, paint, lighting, artwork, and bedding have brought renewed warmth, comfort, and polish to the home, while honoring the architectural details and historic atmosphere that make The Belvedere so distinctive. Rather than reinventing the mansion, the intention was to refine it, preserving its soul while introducing the elevated comforts and quiet luxury today’s guests expect.

The Stay
The Belvedere accommodates up to 20 overnight guests across 10 private guest rooms, each designed for two guests and each with its own private bath. Guest rooms are located on the mansion’s upper levels, with six rooms on the second floor and four rooms on the third floor. The main floor is reserved for gathering, relaxing, and enjoying the estate’s beautifully appointed shared spaces.
Each overnight stay includes a continental breakfast each morning, as well as access to the mansion’s first-floor common areas and outdoor spaces. Spend the evening lingering over drinks and conversation with friends, gathering for a late-night card game after dinner in town, enjoying a slow morning coffee, or simply settling into a quiet corner with a good book and the peaceful rhythm of the estate.
To preserve the atmosphere of the property, overnight accommodations are designed for guests 16 and older.
